Resort Information
Free use of the following:
Ocean kayaks and canoes, as well as ample opportunities for hiking, jogging, sight-seeing, picnicking, and day or night time excursions.

Room assignments
Saturday to Saturday bookings are preferred. Over-water bungalows and air conditioned rooms must be reserved in advance, all other rooms are assigned on arrival.

Passport
Needs to have at least 6 months validity is required for travel to Honduras. Non U.S. citizens, check with your Airlines or Honduran Consulate for visa requirements.

Final documents
Final documents, vouchers, luggage tags, and airline tickets will be mailed upon receipt of final payment. Unless requested otherwise, airline tickets are sent by certified mail.

Reconfirm Airline Flights
Reconfirm your international flight 72 hours prior to departure. Leave a local phone number in case the air carrier must contact you prior to departure. Check in at the ticket counter 2 hours prior to departure.

Customs and immigrations
Cleared on Roatan or at the mainland city where you change air carriers. Honduran departure tax of $25 is collected upon departure and is not included in tour package.

Ground transportation
to CoCo View for paid CoCo View guests staying five nights or more is provided only if flight arrival information is included with final payment. If you hire your own driver, have him radio ahead (VHF 16) to arrange boat pick-up.

Chamber contribution
Your voluntary $2/day contribution to the island's recompression chamber will be added to your CoCo View bill at the end of the week unless you specifically waive the fee, in which case full chamber fees will be charged should services be required.

Dockside Dive Center
Dive specialties, rentals, classes, and photo services are available through Dockside Dive Center and Ocean Images. Advance reservations are required.

Children at CoCo View
Children rates:10 or 11 years old in same room with parents - 50% discount off non-diver rate. Children under 10 are not allowed. Children 12 yrs. and older are full price. Over the years, CoCo View has evolved into a pretty much adult type resort. Many of our guests return year after year and usually it's for the relaxation as well as the diving. Actually, some of these folks place the relaxation above diving and they have come to expect to do this in an adult atmosphere. Some people will even inquire of our office before booking the first time about the presence of young children. I'm explaining this because we want you to know we don't dislike children but must put the best interests of our adult guests first.

Playa Miguel Beach Houses
The beach houses are privately owned and separately administered. Because young children are not permitted at CoCo View, we must put forth some guidelines for those staying at the Beach Houses. These are: Children may come to the resort beach but must be under the supervision of an adult with their party at all times. They may come into the club house for short periods of time for a coke, etc. Again, they must be with an adult. I'm sorry but they may not play in the club house or spend their spare time there. Meals must be eaten at the beach house. The exception is that they may eat in the Dining Room on arrival night and on the cay for the barbecue on Thursday night. Also, children aged eight or nine may eat at the resort but must sit at the same table as their parents. This is OK with us as we feel children of this age are old enough not to be disruptive to those around them. The other guidelines stand for eight and nine year old children. If the adults in the party wish to dive and/or eat some of their meals at the resort, a baby sitter can be arranged. Usually this is only for the hours between 8:00 am to 4:00pm. Sitters must be requested in advance, preferably before arrival. We hope you and your family have an enjoyable vacation.

CoCo View has ramps to get into all the buildings. The ramp to the clubhouse is rather steep, and therefore requires probably assistance by someone. One of the rooms (16) has a ramp with a double door entryway, measuring 54" across. The door to the bathroom is only 26" wide. A chair for the shower can be provided. Please let the resort know in advance that a guest in a wheelchair is coming. It takes a couple of days to assemble the ramps as they don't keep them up all the time. There is no ramp assembly on Sundays since the maintenance guys are off.

*Diving with Nitrox*

Nitrox is available, as well as Nitrox Certifications. Tanks are $6.00 to CoCo View guests per tank (NOT per day) or $100.00 per person for week long unlimited use (shore diving included) . Nitrox tanks for non CoCo View guests are $8.00 a tank, on a space available basis only. Guests must bring their c-card. Nitrox tanks will not be released without a c-card. Guests will pay for Nitrox at CoCo View and the charges will be added to their bill. If you plan to use nitrox, let us know in advance.
