Hi Phil, thought while I had a minute I would get this question out to you.
It was really great talking to you. I am excited. I will fill out the application stuff tonight and get it off to you tomorrow.
Ok, 2 questions,
1. Where is the nearest recompression chamber to Curacao located and how is the transportation to get to it?
2. Has anyone who is going on this trip actually been to Habitat Curacao before for first hand answers to questions? Like where is the closest "supermercado?"

There is a hyperbaric chamber on the island in the town of Willemstad. The resort has vehicles and boats.
There is a store at the resort for buying a lot of grocery items but if there is something that you want that they do not have they will go get it, or you can take the free shuttle into town to go shopping.

I thought of one more: are there local treasures to be purchased as gifts, etc. on the island and typically what kinds of arts & / or crafts are to found on the island?
Yes. Vicki Graf, tour guide, non-diving land package coordinator and expert shopper, will be leading excursions to town.
Is Venezuela pretty far away from this island?
